The first day of the 2025 summer delivered a scorcher – 37C forecast but it felt hotter than that and the competition was played on the Tuart course making it hard work for all.  We filled our total number of allowed starters with 24 members.  Victors on the day by a margin of one point were Alan Sherman, Alan Smith, Ron Bensky and Bob Cousins with the best gross of 65, net 56.125.  Second came Rolfe Heldt, David Lynn, Bruce Morrison and Jim Sargent with gross 67, net 57.125 and third was Tom McClain, Tom Guthrie, Stephen Huckle and Barry Boyd with gross 68 and net 58.375.
